The producers of these EEE products need to get the EPR Authorisation for Riveting, Nailing, and Screwing Tools. The manufacturers also need to fulfil their EPR responsibility annually by recycling the e-waste generated by their products in the past year. The EPR liability is proportional to the production of the last financial year and must be fulfilled in the following year otherwise the Central Pollution Control Board may impose a penalty on such producers who fail to comply with the e-waste management rules and complete the EPR liability before the deadline.
