G Mark Certification

Gulf Conformity mark, also called as G-mark is an affirmation mark used to show items that fit in with every specialized guideline of the Gulf Cooperation Council. G Mark is done for the Products Imported or Sold in Gulf Member States. G Marking for Low Electrical Appliances

List 1 Regulated Products

Manufacturers of List 1 products must have a GMP system in place. Typically, a factory quality control system, in order to guarantee products are being manufactured and assembled in a measured manner which embraces production line testing to ensure the product quality and integrity within the design intent. After considering the above points a manufacturer can affix the correct G Marking to the product and draw up a written Declaration of Conformity.

List 2 Regulated Products:

Manufacturers of list 2 regulated products must choose a single Notified Body (NB) entity, so that product meets the requirements of the applicable Gulf Technical Regulations and for the issuance of an estimation report with a Gulf Type Examination certificate. Manufacturers shall ensure the manufacturing good manufacturing practice has been applied in order to confirm that the product is being manufactured in accord to the technical specifications. Such manufacturers must prepare a detail technical file for each model of product, and a risk analysis report and test reports, among the other additional documentation requirements,

Gulf Toys Technical Regulation

Children’s toys must accomplish all specific safety requirements listed under the technical regulation related to physical, chemical, mechanical, flammability, hygiene, electrical and radioactive properties. Gulf Toys Technical Regulation (GTTR) has been regularly obligatory in all GCC Member States (The State of the United Arab Emirates, The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Kingdom of Bahrain, The Sultanate of Oman, The State of Kuwait, The State of Qatar and Yemen).

This design means that the Toys fulfill essential requirements for health, safety and the environment.

Every toy is protected by the scope of EN 71 and EC directive 88/378/EC (as well as IEC 62115 for electrical toys) is included in the scope of the GTTR.
