This category includes all those appliances that are used to cook or process food and are not covered in the above categories. These are electronic appliances and are based on electricity. They produce e-waste at the end of life hence their safe and sound management is imperative to keep the environment free from harmful pollutants. Under EPR Rules, the producers of such appliances need to obtain EPR Authorisation for Other Large Food Appliances. They need to fulfil their EPR Targets by recycling the e-waste or refurbishing it. E-Waste Management Rules make it compulsory for producers of large food appliances to implement environment-friendly policies which further protect our environment.
